Library Fair 2014

Kingsbury High School’s Lower School Library held their 7th Annual Mini Christmas Fair during lunchtime on the 5th December 2014. It has always been a very popular event with a very large attendance.

This year all the proceeds of the fair are going to The Village School for their toy library, which is always in need of new toys.

The Students enjoyed a Lucky Dip, Raffle, Stationery, Bric a brac and craft stall, Sweet stall and bookmark sale. A total of £250 was taken during 50 minutes.

A Festive Fair in the Library

Kingsbury High School’s annual school library fair took place on Tuesday 3rd December 2013. This has always been a popular event in the Lower School Library and many of students thoroughly enjoyed the event. The event raised just over £145, which will be put towards ordering books requested by students.

Festive Mini Fair

The Kingsbury High School Library’s fourth, Annual, Mini Fair was well attended by the lower school students and members of staff, who enjoyed the festivities by taking a chance on the ‘Lucky Dip’, buying Raffle tickets – ‘oohing’ and ‘aahing’ when they lost or won a prize, buying bargain books and confectionery and supporting the Year 8s in their wonderful efforts to raise funds for the ‘St Luke’s Hospice’ Charity.

We raised over £100 in the lunch hour, the money is going to be used to buy books especially requested by students and a donation was also made to support the Year 8s work for St. Luke’s.
