On Thursday 26 September Kingsbury High School held the auditions for this year’s school production High School Musical. It was great to see the hall buzzing with students from all the year groups, a fantastic turn out. Each student was asked to act out a scene from the play and those auditioning for the main characters had to sing an extract from ‘Breaking Free’.
The Schools’ Expressive Art department is thrilled to have so many talented students at Kingsbury High School and it was great to see them shine. The audition panel had a great time and really enjoyed the afternoon. Students performed to the judging panel consisting of Miss Shovelton, Miss Eastmond and Mr Cumbers. The talent in the room was outstanding and the judges have been set a big challenge trying to decide on the parts. The cast will be announced early next week.
Further details about the show will be announced shortly, but this is set to be another exciting year for the performance students and staff here at Kingsbury High School.
