Over the summer months a lot of work has been invested into creating a new exciting space for the Lower School at Kingsbury High School. The new library is an open space room, this new layout allows the school to host events in the library with ease. New colourful seating has been added for students to sit in groups or on their own to take advantage of the new facilities offered to them.

“You can find magic wherever you look, sit back and relax, all you need is a book.” – Dr. Seuss

It also features a new PC suite for the students to use during their break, lunch time and after school.

We encourage all students to come and visit this wonderful new space and enjoy the importance of reading, take advantage of the books offered to them and discover new things about the world and themselves.

“If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking.” – Haruki Murakami

This month the library focused of Black History and we had some of our new Year 7 students help us celebrate the opening of the library.
