Year 8 Have Fun Raising Money for the Teenage Cancer Trust

For Excel day a group of Year 8 students organised playground activities and an Olympic quiz for our year group. Most people in the year donated a pound and all the money went to the Teenage Cancer Trust. The activities included an assault course, basketball, hula-hoops and skipping.

Students were rewarded with Teenage Cancer Trust tags if they did well, motivated their team or showed that they were really trying hard. The winning quiz teams also received a tag.

Everyone enjoyed the activities and the leaders worked really well as a team to make it all happen. The aim of the day was to raise awareness and money for the Teenage Cancer Trust and we raised a grand total of £323.
